It's perforated surface leads to uniform gas flame distribution and heating. Care and Instruction Don't overheat your Desi Tawa. When using Desi Tawa, cook on low or medium heat.
Do not leave your Tawa unattended, especially when empty.
Turn off the heat as soon as you are done cooking. Once the cooking is done do not dip or hold the Tawa under water as it may crack as it's made from Clay.
